My COBRA Trooper Impression (a modern take)
Hey guys,
Took this loadout for a spin today so I thought I would post some pics. I went for a more modern impression rather than the classic 80's look, more in line with the new movie coming up (I hope there are some of Cobra Commander's finest in it) and the newer G.I Joe Resolute cartoon. Hence the Molle vest and drop leg holster. All Troopers in the comics or toys seemd to have Russian weapons hence the modern AK74 over a AK47 or type 56! Kit list: Helmet: Pit Viper Studios (Airsoft version, not the cosplay one) Generic Black molle vest Hatch knees pads Magnum patrol boots Navy Blue BDU's Ops Gear drop leg holster ICS AK74 with King Arms GP-30 Grenade launcher KJ Works P8 GBB pistol

Damn straight! Hopefully the new movie will generate some interest in COBRA troopers (and hopefully some Joes too) for airsoft rather than just the San Diego Comic Convention!

I figure everyone has that set of camo they would never wear to a game, pink or urban or something. Thats the time to bring it out and have some fun.

Yup, I will never be as cool as this.
Edit: Where did the helmet come from? Did you make it yourself? Last edited by Cliffradical; March 11th, 2012 at 17:21.. |

I would be rather interested, it would be both a fun game and a costume party. Win - win
What would be the place to go to equip oneself in a loadout of the future rulers of the world? Cobrala la la la la la !!!! |

They sell on ebay too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-1-Scale-...item45fd30d7b4 REMEMBER TO ORDER A AIRSOFT VERSION! More expensive but wont shatter with one hit like the brittle cosplay ones! The uniform is just a set of normal midnight/navy blue BDU's you get for security guards. The patches you can get for very chaep on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-...item5635ed607c
