VFC Scar Heavy Fire select gear positioning help!
Hey guys,
I was dissembling my VFC Scar Heavy, and I got everything off but when I got to the final stage before being able top open the gear box to replace the spring, I found out I dont have a small enough hex key in my collection. I am able to reassemble it perfectly (minus my problem) but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put the fire selector switch gear in properly. Seeing as you are supposed to place it in a correct position, then somehow slide them in to the lower receiver without it moving out of place.... Gah! Any help would be appreciated, and I can post pictures if needed. -Daishi |

For an L but I'll bet the pot on the selector switch being the same.

Hmm okay, that is good for proper alignment...but how do you slide all of that back into the plastic properly?
Is it a special technique or just alot of trial and error? |

put the selector gear on the selector plate side first hold it with your thumb and slide it in. once its in you can bend the other side of the body back about and drop in the other gear.

It doesn't need to slide in in entirely the correct position either, you can just reposition the gear through the selector opening once everything is in.
