G&G SIG 552/553 Mags?
Hello, I have been searching all over trying to find something on mags for the G&G sig 553, I imagine it can use the same mags as the 552 but I cant seem to find out from anybody. I saw something about using MAG 100 rd mags with some filing but I also saw that it might damage the feeding tube. Can anyone confirm this?
Will any other brands ie TM fit in a G&G sg553? SIG operators please help I've been looking everywhere for this! |

TM mags work the best. I have all 3 makes of mags... TM, MAGbrand, and G&G mags. MAGbrand can be a bit fussy. The G&G ones are fine as well but they are too orange colored and look wrong and only 30 rounds.
I prefer the 42 round TM ones, but they aren't cheap, and they need to be imported thru a retailer. The MAG ones are fine too, once you get them to fit and find which BBs they like best. ( I have had some feeding issues with some BBS.)

Did someone sound the sig signal?...
I have the 100rnd mag brand midcaps they feed great on bb bastards, however my sig is an ICS. |

Hmm. I thought the MAG ones needed to be modded.

We were called?
I use chinese (might be unbranded MAG mags) 100 round midcaps. Had to do some filing but they work great. |

So Marui works fine in the GG without modification? Thinking a out making the switch, and the mags are the deal breaker, after all the ICS issues I had. Been reading some conflicting reviews.

I just ordered a 220 rd TM, I'll let you know for sure whether it works when it arrives,
I'd like to switch over to 100 rd mid caps if they work though, i am just afraid of damaging the feed neck which still has not confirmed for G&G. good to know they do fit though with filing |

just an update, my TM 220 rd high cap mag showed up and fits and fires perfectly with no issues, quite happy with it. I will probably pick up some MAGs next as I'd prefer to run with midcaps but this is great for now.

Can anyone explain to me why the Marui's work? I've looked at the top of both, and they look like they're reverse of each other.

Doesn't matter where the BB release is. The feed hole is in the same location.
