acquiring items

I will be getting my age verified withing a week or so but in the mean time I am doing a lot of research in terms of gears, weapons and accessories.

I can't wait to have my age verified then be able to get access to the classifieds and the av retailers.

Just a questions, i have my eyes set on the $280 KWA M9 PTP or $280 KWA M1911 MKIV PTP as a secondary and was wondering if I should just acquire it at the online retailer or wait to see the classifieds?

I don't want to buy used and would prefer brand new.

I know full metal is hard to find but i'm not 100% sure if its full metal or is it the clearsoft crap that this place sells it.

On the description it says - Metal slide, metal frame, metal controls, plastic barrel - Uses the new NS2 gas system.

Your guidance will help.

If it says full metal slide an frame than it won't be cansoft. The NS2 M9 and 1911 are great guns, very reliable even in cold weather when a TM would start to fail. $280 is a very reasonable price for one, if you don't want to buy used you probably won't get a better price in the classifieds. I would just buy them from whatever retailer you're looking at and use the classifieds for other items you may need.

The anticipation will kill ya but as a recently-AV'd member I can tell you the wait is worth it. Since you want to go brand-new, I can tell you that the AV'd Retailer section is actually quite good. You can find lots of discounts for ASC forum members in there, and you can make easier contact (via PMs) with retailers as well, since you're already AV'd in here.

It's worth the wait!
