The gallery should be working properly now, give it a whirl, upload to your heart's content. Let me know if you have any problems.

Site's also running faster now too, although it's probably not noticeable - the little numbers that tell me if things are going horribly wrong are lower than before. That's good!

Hold the phone.. i just tried uploading a pic.. it seems the image previews and thumbs don't render properly. Just go into the uploads section and take a look.

I tried uploading one just to see, thumbnail is dark and slightly blurry, but click on it and it looks okay.

A couple of the new ones are ok, but some of them are all colour-inverted and the colours are all messed.

Images uploaded while the setup was wrong have bad thumbnails, they need to be re-uploaded to recompile the thumbs.
Any new images should be ok.
