Flyye Gear
I have been considering buying a vest of some sort from this company for a while now and I was wondering if those who own their products could post what they think about them.
I am looking into getting a RAV http://www.flyyeindustries.com/Artic...sp?ProdID=0353 or a PC carrier http://www.flyyeindustries.com/Artic...sp?ProdID=0309 I had a look around and I couldn't find very much other than sales threads. Thanks!

I hear good things about Flyye gear.
I personally prefer to spend a little bit more and get the real deal (Eagle Industries). The compromise I see is the pouches. Some of the original pouches are very expensive. Flyye pouches are still good and look a lot like the real one, so I don't care having them mixed in the set.

I have a flyye RRV, and i find it to be a reletivly nice piece of gear. The only complaint I have is I find flyye stuff to be very stiff when you first get it. It will loosen up eventually but it takes a few wears.

I have tried on some EI stuff before and it feels great but it's a bit expensive for a student. What was the price for the RRV?

Yea I should have added it is pretty good quality... As for the price you will pay anywhere between 70-100 or maybe a little more depending on where you get it. I ordered mine overseas so I payed a little more because I didn't know of any retailers that sold it here.

I own the Flyye PC (EI replica) and i love it. took a couple wears as said before to losen it up a bit. Quality is very good also. Probably as good as its going to get unless you buy the real deal.

I have the Flyye Force Recon Land, and like everyone else said it was stiff for a while. I am more than happy with it and will buy another one. . I heard the Mar version is a little less stiff-- the land version has some kind of stiffeners in the cumberbunn, where as the Mar doesn't.
I am 6'2" and 200lbs and I find the medium size fits great. Most people will tell you to order the size down from what you need. Don't order from their site they have a month or more lead time, since the vests are made to order. Ehobbyasia usually has them in stock, same with shootercbgear. The only place I found that sells them in Canada was Canadaknive--- DON'T ORDER FROM HIM!!! I did and found out later he had ripped off a bunch of his customers and it took 3 months of fighting with him to get my vest, I even had to get the Police involved. His business is run out of HK not Ontario like his web store says. |

A few of us got the WSH* and absolutely love it. It's a weesatch clone. Build is really good and have no complaints at all. Made custom plastic plates to eliminate bunching, from not using real (imitation) plates, out of some rigid but slightly flexible plastic.
Haven't gone back to my Voodoo Tactical plate carrier that served me well. Only issue is that if the retailer doesn't have it in stock, they are made to order. Our order was piggy backed on our teams Flyye guy's order, direct from Flyye, but the production for the entire container got held up because of a rather large military contract. Seeing the 'preorders' listed means there's potential for a serious delay. |

would you recommend ordering straight from Flyye?

I also got the MBSS Hydration Molle backpack, attached it right to the back of the WSH, love it... everything is balanced and no shifting, nothing.

I contacted flyye and they didn't send me a quote, they just directed me to ehobbyasia, the prices are good.
