Hey it's great when a reporter actually writes a positive review about Airsoft based on first hand experience ---

The comments are annoying as usual. But the article is rather informative and decent.

My though exactly... some retarded comments again, unsurprisingly.

But still, nice article to read.

I don't think airsoft needs any press. It's better to keep it down low and legal like the way it is now. IMO getting more attention isn't a good thing.

Cool report, doesn't change how I feel about the store though.

Really needs a revamp in customer service and overall ethics.
I wish the news reporter got a glimpse of all the kidiots drooling over the guns sitting in bins laying about, or even better... With said kids running around with said guns from said bins, charging out from behind their cover going *BANG BANG* at you.
Oh the joys of visiting that store.

Nice touch on the ear protection too...

Still don't agree with some of their business practices... I went there looking for a wool pea coat. About 6 of them were on a circular rack with a large sign that said all coats here are 20% off. When I found my size and took it up to pay for it, they told me that the pea coats were not part of the deal even though they were on the sale rack...

They have huge bins of $10 clear springers that a ton of kids buy up.

Pointing out the article is fine; the poll was entirely unnecessary.

While the favorable press is good, I'm not sure the message it puts out attracts the right kind of people: likewise, I'm not convinced the sport being promoted by bodies whose only motivation is sales profits (in this case a retail store) does much to elevate the quality of the game.

In the end I can't really blame people for the dumb comments, virtually nothing was said about how the guns are used so its not hard for someone who doesn't know to think they'll just get shot in back yards and used to snipe the neighbors' cats.

Also, bitethebullet, AKA Forest City co-owner Bob Reave (yeah, someone signing up just to post that is a big red flag)... Not quite misrepresenting yourself, but given the report is close to an FC Surplus infomercial there's maybe a failure to properly present yourself. As well as a long standing history of Ian Gillespie writing up positive articles about the store (although arguably beneficial in this case). Just thought I'd point it out to everyone for the sake of clarity; the members of this community can form their own opinion.

Looks to me like Ian Gillespie just bought himself an ICS M4 with a blown mechbox after making this video. I have to agree with spartan in that the community does not need to have anymore press. Very few people take it beyond that and do research on there own. Than we get an influx of basic questions that can simply be answered by using the basic search function so conveniently found at the top of each forum. As we've seen lately in the Newbie section.

I must say, it's always a good start to my day when I see Drake call someone out on there shenanigans. LOL.

I just wish Canadian Tire and Wallmart were as picky with who they sell their clear soft to.
