Magpul PTS UBR stock: can it fit batteries?

The title says it all.

If yes: what kinds. Right now I'm using a crane stock and I got a 9.6 butterfly type with that. So would that fit?

If no, what about the PRS stock?

Reason I'm asking cuz I might want to get one but my gun is rear wired. I really don't like front wired cuz then it will get too front heavy. My gun is already heavy as it is lol.

same thing the stock is actually solid, and only attaches via a tube much the same as the ubr

Magpul PRS with stock tube LiPo?

ACCL, I'm wondering if you did install it, and how it went.

I've been eyeing the installation of a PRS on my SPR, but would rather keep it rear wired if it's possible...

there was a gun I saw in the classifieds yesterday that was rear wired for lipo in a UBR buffer tube.

11.1V is difficult to fit in 7.4V can fit in.

You need to enlarge the hole on the UBR butt tube so the connector can go through.

Seond, you may like to cut the stock's buffer tube open on the top so you don't need to take off the whole stock to change battery. Just remove the buffer tube cover then you can change battery.

It doesn't fit easily, and you'll get frustrated with how few mags you can squeeze out of a 1000mah battery. Especially if you don't have any kind of low voltage protection, if you over-discharge that battery it can spew fire when charging. LiPo isn't like NiMH, you can't just slap it on the gun and expect everything to be good.
I put a stock mag pouch on my UBR stock and wired it up to go into the stock pouch.

Why not do what Vondnik did to the M4 I purchased from the classifieds. Battery is in a mag shell and the gun is wired to a redi-mag

Not really practical for an SPR build. As for the 1000mAh... Not really an issue. I've been playing with a 1200 mAh battery for a year, and sometimes I've used it two game days without recharging it. Lowcaps and reasonable ROF (when not in semi) FTW!

11.1v 1000mah drains faster than a 9.6v 1200mah
higher voltage makes for higher drain
If you really want to run with it though, I highly recommend getting a PCB to warn you when you approach low voltage!

Well I was thinking of 7.4v LiPo, but yeah the voltage drain is still valid.

Haven't even received the gun yet, it's supposed to be on its way^^ I'll look into that when I'll have it in hands.

Should be here in a week or so :/ And im still trying to find a UBR in black. I've been scoping around but all the ones that are in stock overseas are quite over priced....
