Bungee tops for closed top velcro pouches

I have a weesatch with closed top flaps which are removable and want to switch them out for the bungees.

Anyone know where to find these velcro bungee tops? What are they called?

You should check out the mod I made with my rig Coach, all with a length of shock cord and the existing velcro closures. The mags are just held in by the tension with no covers, really easy to extract.

But If you want the actual ones, that works too :P Not sure where to get em.

Yeah. I like how the radio pouch bungee works. I could just ask my cousin to make them but she might not be able to sew through the webbing to make the tabs.

Would like to know how much the real ones go for.

Btw, did you just stuff all the excess Velcro inside?

No what I actually did was put the current velcro covers, deep inside the back of the pouches, the top of them basically just sits under the top of a mag when its inserted. Then I ran a complete length of shock cord through the front molle's, then through the loops on those covers, and back to the front molle. The back covers keep the tension on the mags from the back, and when you pull a mag, it ends up springing forward and holds the remaining mag just enough so that its not super loose and chance of falling out.

Yeah. That's what I meant by stuffing it inside. Maybe I'll give it a try and see how it goes but ultimately would probably not want to use the front molle to secure it when I start loading it up. Just depends how I arrange more pouches down the road.

I'm 99% sure I get how you did it, but I'd like to see a picture if possible.

Thanks,
