Vests and Your Prerogative
I have a regular vest that i bought last year for dirt cheap from army navy deals. It carries like 6 mags has two pockets for god know what ever, a radio pocket and a map pocket. I mean it's pretty good and all but I'm looking at getting something a little more sleek well i should say more efficient.. I have to constantly unclip the pouches to get the mags out and then clip it back in so they don't fly around.. They have Velcro on them and i was considering just cutting the clips off but then i thought i would just leave it alone and put it in the archives.. I've been looking on eBay for a lot of stuff and i came across a few rigs that have been really cool. Just curious as to what some of you guys think of what to invest in so i don't have to repeat the process again. I mean i should have done this in the first place before spending any cash but in the end it wasn't a lot i spent and it all works out.. Trial and Error.. I picked this one out
http://cgi.ebay.com/Airsoft-Molle-Ta...item3f038fc721 I like woodlands gear it goes with everything.. You can wear it over any camp BDU's and it works.. I figured Molle is the way to go.. Any opinions? Great price to but whats the quality like?

You will probably find this vest very hot and combursome if you spend a lot of time running and crawling.
I would have spent my money on a more modular systme like seperate armor, chest rig...

I ment more modular as being able to go light with no armor, to keep cool and mobile.
Your vest is some sort of a replica of a heavy body armor that is hot and cumbersome. Take a look there: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=92185 You will find a lot of pics of what I mean. Especially in the last pages. Lot's of chest rig and body armor.

I picked up the exact vest for my GF who is pretty petite. Fits her perfect... so unless you are a small guy I'd find something else.
If you are a small guy... great vest. She has no problems with it at all. Movement, pouches, etc. Perfect for her in all aspects.

A friend got one, hated it ever since he got it. not very comfortable and pretty fragile... he did the same thing as me in the end : get a real PC in Cordura.

Errr... another rip off, I would be veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery surprised if this was real cordura.
Really, if you want proper quality get either Flyye or Pantac products or real deal. I don't know what loadout you have but Tactical Assault Gear has begun to sell ATACS (I'm getting a Banshee plate carrier) and has a lot of colors. You can also have a look at SKD Tactical. It's your choice but for my gear I only buy real stuff or gear I'm sure is made of good materials, I'm specialized in solo recon/sniper/sabotage, if I have to flee I want to be sure I won't loose half my gear in branches or elsewhere. The... "things" you show me, I would not trust them one bit. EDIT : it doesn't even says Cordura actually. Still : run like hell from it ! |

If you insist on getting a woodland vest then Ehobby might have something there but I do agree with everyone else. If I were you, get something in Coyote Brown, it goes with every camo. Though, you get what you pay for if you side with the chinese vests.
