I need Help.

Hey all, I know I don't usually talk around here much, But I have a problem. I need to know how to go about selling my airsoft gun. I would post in the classifieds, but I'm not AV'd. Life has thrown me a curve ball, and I need some money ASAP. So if someone can get me started in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
That said, Please don't start PMing me asking to buy it, this is not a sale thread.

Can't do it here without being AV'd. Your best bet is finding a local forum and selling there, or pawn it off on a friend or colleague.

You can also try craigslist, I've seen other airsoft guns being sold there b4.

the problem is, this is the only airsoft forum I know of. And I don't want to just sell it on kijiji/Craigslist because I don't want it to wind up in a minors hands...
If an AV'd member in my area can help me sell it, would that work?

Yes. There's some posts in the classifieds where they state that they're selling for a friend. Then again, if you sell it on ebay or w/e you can ask for proof that they're 18 or over

Exacly, public sites like kijiji are a very bad idea.
You can try to go at a local game and sell them there in persone. If your gear is in good shape and at a good price, some people impulsivity can turn into cash for you.

There is only one place that could be considered local, but I don't own a vehicle, and I'm pretty sure they ended last week.

I've pretty much been a chairsofter. I've only been to one game...

I totally agree you don't want it to end up in the hands of a minor but when you put it on Craigslist really only people in your city/area see it, insist they come to pick it up and check their ID. Even if it's only a small audience it can't hurt. I strongly recommend you borrow a car and get it to a game if you can, probably your best bet even if you don't sell it there leave contact info and word will spread.

We have games weekly at the DMZ field in Thorold on Sundays between Noon and Dusk. You can come out to there and see if anyone there might be interested.

Also, don't try to sell on Kijiji. They DO NOT allow sales of airsoft or airguns on there forum. Only paintball guns are allowed to be sold on Kijiji.
