Boots

What kind of boots are you all rocking? I was using a cheap pair of Rothco desert lug sole boot..

The first issue i had with these is as soon as i got them wet the glue started to come apart, the sole of the boot.. And then the heel on the inside of the boot there is some sort of fabric and the glue came off on that and it was sliding around. I shoe gooed it all back together and worked them in and now their really comfortable.. I guess thats what happens when you pay only 30 bucks for them..

Now recently while i was in the USA i picked up a pair of these..

Rockport 6610 Tactical boot which has a composite toe. I put these on and they were like clouds on my feet.. I haven't played in them yet but i can't wait..

currently. CF issue Mk2 Cadillacs. But I was wearing SWAT Originals for about 2-3 years. after me using them as my primary footwear all that time the soles wore straight through....

Mk2s aint bad once properly broken in/you have high quality insoles in them

Original SWAT black, desert and goretex boots and Belleville 490 Desert.

The SWATs are great boots, haven't worn the goretex ones yet but I have no doubts about them. The Black SWATs have been used daily for work(garrison an field) for the last 2 years and are still going strong. Bellevilles lasted through a tour and are still holding out with field use.

Anyways I'm going CF issued Combats (Terra) but they're cold weather certified so they're a little bit warm.
