M120 spring with TM EG1000 motor?
bit of background, just got a new systema gearbox thats pre upgraded for an m120 spring but even with a fully charged 8.4v battery all i got was a partial pull back on the piston. my question is, is a tokyo marui eg1000 motor good enough for the m120 spring or not? and if it isnt any suggestions for motors.
thanks |

That motor is fine.
Shimming? |

The motor is sufficient to pull that. Check:
1. Shimming 2. Motor height 3. Battery maybe bad. I would personally be using 9.6 in a M120 setup. And by new battery what is it? Vanaras crap or quality batteries? |

TM EG1000 is fine up to M130, provided you use torque up gears.
M120 is within normal gear ratio use. Is your IB Pack SubC or LiPO? SubC should not be an issues. Though IB is not the best, Elite 5000mah and any Team Orion SubC are the best. M120? No...capacity is the wrong factor to look at. You don't look at a truck and wonder if it can pull a stump out of the ground by look at its gas tank. My SR47 is running a M120 on an Elite 1500 2/3A pack at 9.6V. IR is 6 mOhms on these cells. The two factors you want to know about a battery is Internal Resistance or it's inverse the discharge rate and the Volts. You can have a High Capacity Cell, but its not a high discharge cells under load. With that...your gun is not going to turn anything over. The deciding factor is IR/Discharge rate. This will Always trump capacity in airsoft needs. |

just giving the internal wiring a going over as battery straight to motor works proving batt and motor are fine
