T-1 micro on GBBR
Quick question..
Anyone have any experience with the dytac t-1 red dots mounted on their gbbr's? I know that the recoil can wreak havoc on the wiring on most clone optics. First hand experience, or thoughts and input are appreciated. Specifically this one: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/dytac-t-1...-qd-mount.html |

The only optics that work on gbbrs without problems are regular optics. ie. Zooming scopes. Or else real steel optics.
I'd recommend saving the money to put towards a real steel optic. Or else only use that one for pictures. It only took my clone eotech 4000 rounds to become NFG.

Same thing here... had it on my GBB mp7 and it worked fine.. put it on the WE PDW.. and it lasted about half an hour and gave up

Yup.. that is the inconsistent quality control .. there are some that are bomb-proof.. and others.. you look at em sideways and they give up . Though at the price you can just buy another ( or just use it without the dot) it's costume gear anyway

my chinese eotech 551 worked fine and kept zero on my we m4. you dont need optics on airsoft anyways. shoot irons (aka pot metals). it's good practice.

Cool looks of optics aside...switching back to iron sights was one of the most liberating and fun things I've done in a while. No worries about if the optic is still zero'd, if your batteries are ok, if it's going to get shaken to death, etc...
The only issue I had was shooting in a really dark environment at longer range (and lights help with that...having a buddy spot with the light from cover is even better ). |

That's why I paint bright green 3 dots on rear sights and the tip of the front one

So in short, there are no non-real steal optics that will hold up on a gbbr? Not that I'm cheap or anything, but I'd rather not spend $500 on a red dot.

If you want an optic for a gbbr go with a Bushnell holosight. very reasonably priced and made for RS. Plus Bushnell has some of the best customer service I have ever experianced.
