Hi Capa Spring
I think I have lost a spring in my Hi-Capa upper receiver. I'm not sure what's it's called so I can order one.
Thanks This part: |

I think I found a replacement. I disassembled a BIC lighter I had and got the spring inside it. It's about half a cm too long but the perfect width. I'll try to cut it and see if it fits correctly.

You might have to watch if it's too hard or too light, you might would have problems with your nozzle returning with blowback.

small bic lighter right? Large ones are too big I think/thought.
That spring is not essential to the functioning of the pistol. It's there so cosmetically the nozzle isn't visible when the slide is racked back. You can leave it out if you don't care about that. The limit of travel is such that without the spring the nozzle will still be retracted by the blow back unit when the slide is to the rear that it will pick up the next BB to feed. You'd be better off cutting the spring short...then stretching it out a bit....if in it's compressed state it is too "long" then it will prevent the nozzle from picking up the next BB. The distance required is pretty short though. Just test and adjust as needed. Tys |

Thanks. It seems to be working fine when I rack back the slide but I still need to test it with gas and BBs, I'll do that later today.
Oh and it was a large BIC lighter. |
