Propane @ Costco
Went to Costco in Red Deer today and they had a 4 pack of propane cylinders (the standard Coleman sized one we usually use for the GGB's) for $13 and change. Don't remember the brand though. Check your local Costco's for actual pricing as I know they vary a lot geographically.

My local Wally World sells them for 4 bucks a pop, 6 for a pair. Maybe they were on sale, as I bought 8 at once and this was a year and a half ago, still working on my third can lol

We went through 2 canisters last week after setting up a bam airsoft type course. Its so much fun we are all wanting to build race guns. I have a feeling I'll need a cheap source of propane. On that note I bought some in a blue canister from LOWES and that sh*t stinks bad. Way worse than the Coleman I have been using. You guys find some brands smell alot worse than others?

Yep. Propane by itself is colourless and odourless. The company is the one that adds the "bitterants" to the propane as a safety feature to stop people from sniffing it and so you know if there's a leak. I'm not sure if the amount is regulated though but yeah if one smells worse than another then it's probably because there's more stuff in it.
PS: If you want really cheap propane, I've heard of adaptors for those large 20lb propane tanks that you attach the coleman canisters to and they'll fill it back up. I'll see if I can find a link for you. EDIT: Here's a video showing you how to. It sounds like they're called propane couplers or something. I'm also not sure if this is entirely safe (since it's an "uncontrolled fill") but it can't be any less safe than filling GBB mags. I mean we do it on a smaller scale with GBB mags so why not (right?). The coupler is about $20-30 so although it's a big investment it will pay off in time if you use lots of gas. He does it himself with the BBQ tanks, and a coupler.

See youtube video I posted above. I believe the coupler is only like $20-30 but if you use it often enough you're saving money. I've also heard of people putting silicone oil into the thing as they were refilling but I'm not sure how it would play out and whether you wouldn't have to use silicone oil on your mags ever again or if it does something bad to the canister.

would it be possible to make a bracket up so the a full size tank sits upside down in it than attatch a fill nozzle to a hose? be a great source for a team fill station. expecially if you had like 3 coming off it at once.... might make the propane cool way too much though.

I've seen pictures of full size tanks rigged for re-fills and hanging upside down in the bush.
What you'd really want is a seconary port so you could charge it with silicon, maybe Mad Max will get on it. More GBB rifles and SMGs will mean more call for this.
