More info on this gun, VFC M4 SOPMOD from Mach1

Hi guys, been looking all over for details on this gun.

http://www.mach1airsoft.com/web/cata...&id=296&cat=23

Can't find details on this model anywhere else. Is it a Canada ONLY model?

Anyone here have one?

Details?

FPS?

Can it handle a small 7.4 lipo?

Good base gun?

Any more info would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks.

I believe it is their E series model.

YouTube- Airsoft GI - VFC M4 Tactical E-Series Full Metal AEG

Hope that helped.

Found this on arnies.

Features:
M4A2 Receiver
M4A1 Grip
Steel Flash Hider
Steel Gas Tube
Steel Selector / Bolt Catch / Mag Catch
CNC Machined Delta Ring
Steel Dust Cover
CNC Machined RIS Handguard Set
14.5 Inch Steel + Aluminum Outer Barrel
300M Rear Sight
SOPMOD Stock Set
Bolt Locking System
Functional Right Side Safety Indicator

Plus a 8mm gearbox. This should with out a doubt be able to handle a 7.4. The FPS is 300-320 with 0.2g. Seems to be a great gun. And i believe it is the standard version that is sold in the US. Anyone else that has first hand experience with one can chip in.

Buddy of mine just got one.

Solid gun, great out of the box, shoots around 370fps, takes 9.6v mini battery in the crane stock.

Haven't taken a look at the internals, and not going to until something breaks.

As far as i know WGC carries the gun as well. And its a mixture of Avalon/VFC according to most of the google links. Try asking Mach1 VIA email. Judging by the looks of it though, most VFC guns have been coming with a case, this one included (at least in America, Asia, ETC) but Mach1 is skimping out on them only offering it to people who buy the most expensive SCAR model, which i believe is the SCAR-L.

That's the US Marine Corps marking, not the Colt marking. Colt marking says "COLT" and features a horse.

I purchase one and got mines last week. It has a 8mm bearing gearbox so it can take lipos no problems. Diabolic Tyrant is correct, it is one of their M4 E series so it does not come in one of those fancy cases like the scars or the sr15.

Out of the box it suppose to shoot over 400FPS but they have to change the spring to a lower one to compare to canadian standards. Mines shoots under 400fps for sure.. don't have a chrono yet but I did a poor man's chrono.

edit - the box that came with says E Series on mines.

looks like a strange combination of guns/parts

from what I can find it should have a folding rear sight, or a 10.5" barrel

Surfing the web, still cant find a specific model or details for this gun.

I know Mach1 gets "Canada Specific" guns for importation purposes, suppose this is special to Canada only?

It's possible.

Perhaps it's better if you just buy a VFC from one of Mach1's dealers and redress it to your liking? Probably the easiest way to reach your desired gun.

very true, the "sopmod" sounds like a good base gun...

Magpul stock, grip, 9" Daniel Defense Omega Rail... Aimpoint T1, oh yeah, will be nice...
