lol she didn't stay stock for long either... before a round went through it the creation slide was siliconed into the outer and a new outer barrel was siliconed into the hopup unit with a pdi 6.01.
310-320 fps in my cool basement as a result.. should hit about 340 in the sunlight. won't be able to game it till I get my new taco pouches to hold these giant mags. should've used the black gasket maker instead of the copper stuff though lol... you can see the copper creeping out the seams... hopefully I can just sharpie into the cracks to cover it up... think the copper exhaust gasket will have better resistance to oils and propane.

Finally got grips and some springs for this thing to finish the build. Very shiny.

Very nice build! Especially digging the finish. Say, do you have any spare 1911 springs you can spare? I need a few for a project im working on.
Thanks, Jordan |

Couldn't find a retailer that had a Socom Gear Punisher MEU, so I decided to build one my self. Started off with just a stock Socom Gear MEU SOC and added the compensator, then took it completely apart so I could strip down the barrel, ambi-thumb safety, the grip safety, mag release, the hammer, and slide locking lever. Once the black coating was stripped off I polished them with a polishing compound and a buffing wheel, then put it all back together. Now I'm just waiting for the extended slide locking lever to come in, and I want to change the grips.
sorry for the crappy pics, took them with my phone. |

Still a work in progress First try at stippling as well, I think it came out well. now for a way to mount a silencer to cover up that 10" barrel |

Just mixing brands and trying things out on this one, but I think this looks nice.
