This is my AK
Just bought this a couple days ago. Plan was to go to the local surplus/airsoft sales shop and buy myself an MP-5 but as I looked through the display of airsoft guns, I found the MP-5 I would have bought, but I kept getting distracted by the various AK's, more exactly...this sexy little Kalashnikov Spetsnaz which I bought for $200, which got marked down to $174 due to a return, I got 32 dollars off the gun. It came with 2 mags, had I bought the MP-5 I only would've gotten one. BONUSES are always good. Anyway, here's my AK. Now my SVD has a Russian comrade.

Not me though . ...not yet. As for where to find that part.... I've yet to see a Canadian retailer that stocks LCT parts...so you'll probably have to go overseas?

Item # LCT-PK-28 Unfortunately, they seem to be the only ones who've got it. Sadly, airsoftparts doesn't deal in LCT parts anymore. |

Personally, I'm only really curious about the Zhukov folding stock. The fixed stock looks like a simplified Archangel Opfor AK stock, though with a reasonable price.
The rest of the furniture (short of the grip which I already have mounted) looks kinda bleh... hand guards don't look too great or complement the aesthetics of the AK but regardless, its nice to have more companies producing accessories for the AK platform at a more affordable price. That said, good luck getting Magpul furniture from the States. PS. I just realized why the Zhukov looks so familiar, its VERY similar to the AK12 stock, probably where they got their inspiration from.

Help Required
Does anyone on this thread know of a company that sells a stock version of the following AK or if it even exists without buying 2 guns and swapping parts:
-Full steel AK 102/104/105 variant without a folding stock (need full stock for battery). I have looked high and low and cannot seem to find what I am looking for without building it from parts myself All my AK's are so old it is becoming hard to cobble together the parts to keep them functional (TM compatible bodies and furniture). The last AK variant to be produced which did not have a folding stock was the AK74. You would need to purchase for instance an LCT AK74 and then the AK104/105 front set to convert it.
Just to ask, why not a lipo battery in the receiver? Plenty of juice in them these days, most of the fellows I roll with use 7.2 lipos in that manner and they seldom have to change batteries for a day game; two or three needed for a long 48 hr milsim. |
