my biggest regret is my second ever aeg i bought which was a m16a3 from VA cheap because it had a 'few' problem. Well actually, the only problem it had was that it shot weak, but over time, one problem became another and right now it's becoming a big headache to me. I would love to sell it, but that means admitting defeat. So I'm taking advantage of this by learning the finer details of the V2 mechbox. Now I'm no gundoc, but I have a habit with tinkering with things which led me to building one of my aeg in my collection. One day, that problematic aeg would be fixed, and when it comes, I will have my revenge

Yup i do...... Spending $14,800 in about one year (2009). That and not purchasing the last M24 in canadian history located in the classifieds. Unicorns are easier to find and purchase at this point.

What's 3 months wages at 0$ a month? Fancy ring that gets haha.

And yea, even with little income, I always find my Paypal lined with Cash that I inexplicably have present to waste on Airsoft....month after month...even though I'm already completely kitted out...

It's the whole damned "Oooh that looks like fun" or "I swear I can find a use for that!" part of our brains to blame. Glad to see I'm not the only person who has it.

Biggest airsoft spending regret:

G&P WOC GBBR = money pit that worked 10% of the time and was in pieces on my work bench 90% of the time.

I've only ever had issues with the most expensive of my guns. They all seem to be money pits.

I traded a custom Surefire G2 (Worth way over $100) and a Gerber Flik Multiplier for a Condor MICH 2000. Which I'm currently selling...

I've facepalmed every time I remember my failure.

buying a Canadian tire gun,(Please refrain from flaming) Pulse R76? AK-74u? It cycled, it fired 3 shots and then didn't fire 2, so i returned it FOR EXCHANGE and then got it home to test fire it, the magazine release fell apart after 3 shots and then returned it and got back more then what i paid because the price went up, they really screwed up but it was only $30 extra for me but still i was a major pain in the ass. and the worst airsoft investment I've made to date. Airsoft is not just a hobby it's an investment!

Two regrets,
1: Not getting back into airsoft two years earlier (I really wanted a prowin V2 split box)
2: Not getting the wife involved in airsoft earlier (She makes a wicked "mags and ammo" gift basket)

I regret my G&G L85. The seller was awesome, the gun is built great, but it's a P.I.T.A. build with a v6. I ran it 8 cell nimh for a while, then I ran lipo for a game, blew the piston and haven't been able to run it since. The piston is a non-standard extra long one. Finally I bought another one, but it's full metal and seizes every time I fire it. I can fix my v2's in an hour, no matter what the problem, and have lots of spare parts.

How can I regret a wife that buys me an M249 SAW for Christmas? (regret)to the power -1

I took a little artistic license with that comment, only because I'm getting old and the neurons ain't workin' like they used to.

Personally, my only regret was that I couldn't hide the cost of a minigun from my wife, so I didn't buy one. She's German-Polish Catholic. No divorce. One of us has to die. It would be me.

that was me and it was "tell me that didn't cost $500"...my response was "I promise it was not $500". We were both happy and I don't feel I lied. Truth be told, if she knew the gun was $4000 she would freak but I rationalize it it because I could be at the bar or the casino. Now I tell her different numbers for my camera gear...we both stay happy!

My WOC has never had issues. Ever.

Only have occasional leaking from mags, and thats due to my inability to maintain the orings as much as I would like.

Damn pro win mags take forever to dissassemble, such a pain to get at the output valve.

No regrets as of yet.

1.) buying a WA Infinity Prokiller Mark 2 that most likely doesnt work. If it does, its worth 800+, if not, its just sitting there looking cool.

other than that, money well wasted
