HobbyKing no longer shipping lipo batteries via AirMail or EMS to Canada

hobbyking has a US warehouse. i recently ordered 5 1500mAh lipos from their main site, and the items were shipped from their US warehouse.
thats not really a problem as the batteries ship fast. the big issue i have is that items shipped out of their US warehouse are shipped via UPS (yea, urgh). i tried to get them to ship USPS, but it was a no-go. ended up paying out an extra $30 to UPS... god i hate them.

I ordered some lipos some days ago, and selected the "airmail - lipo" option during the check out. The lipo were sent by Fiji Post. The shipping charge is slightly higher (about 2-5$ more) than Singapore Post. Haven't receive it yet, hope it will work fine.
Seems to be much slower than Singapore Post and HK Post. Let's see if it is slower than China Post...

just got an email from them in regards to their shipping.
seems they have updated things and have more shipping options now.. i wonder if they'll reimburse me for the UPS rape i received... $35 for lipos, with $28 UPS fee slapped on.. urgh

Mmm, I still get stuck on the Popup denying me the shipping. Is there a minimum weight/price for the order?

I'm so desperate I'm starting to think I'll pay the 30$ option.

Or start a group order.

A group order would be awesome.

Got my batteries yesterday, $13.79 for 494g (about $39 worth of battery), I think it will work for more weight.

I've been waiting for a bit for my LiPo's from HK. I got a tracking number but I don't know what company they are using to ship.

Sometimes you can tell from the format of the tracking number.
