i used washing machine then used a dryer. the shemagh is kinda fuk'd up, it unravel easily.

I hand washed my shemagh in a tub of warm water using only a little dettergent.

I just hang mine out on the line, folded in half, with a couple of bounce sheets in between.

I got my shemagh at the local army surplus. It's made in India. I washed it in the washing machine and dried it in the dryer. Came out fine. I only noticed afterwards that the instructions stated to dry clean it only. If it wears out, I'll get another one. Simple as that.

I got my two from one of the local players who sells them but I also know that my local field is getting a bunch in for their online store so I'll prolly get a few more.
Have not really bothered to wash mine yet but when I do I'll just do the tub of soapy water, rinse then hang to dry. |
