MikeL, McTAz riposi tutte due, calmati per piacere..(both hands, palms down making a downward motion) Veramente, lui a un po geloso, come me. Io sono canadese, Io voglio tante cose in CADPAT ma non trove...(cupping my hands over my face, hiding the tears)
Se McTaz e un ladro, lui e un ladro molto intelligente. What can I say? the guy has good taste in canadian gear. Shadow (unofficial canadian ambassador to Italy) |

I've seen Brits wear Desert DPM in Suffield though. Also, whats SOP CADPAT? AFAIK SOP only means Standard Operating Procedure. |

As it stands right now AR CADPAT is not authorized for wear in Canada; just because someone said it was gonna happen doesn't mean it will, or anytime soon.
I doubt it will happen though. |

it still seems like an ineffiecint system To give a soldier his kit for and only for operations overseas thats like saying sure well show how to operate the LMG but well only let you handle it when you come under fire

A different color uniform will not make his/her training any different or make them a better/worse soldier. Also, this is a lot different than training troops in weapons.

lmao, your still pretty new or a recruit aren't you, wanting all the shiny kit ASAP.
A uniform is a uniform, no different than the TW CADPAT combats. Don't need to get used too that, or get it adjusted, etc. If you were too go overseas, guess what you already got most of the kit, Tac Vest, Small Pack, Rucksack, etc Prior to deployment you would be givin your AR CADPAT uniform an boonie hat, desert boots, rucksack cover, camelbak, etc Quote:

wow mike let me geuss your a what captain? Major? cause you know everything right? And yeah i was a recruit just like you. About 3 years ago. So tell me what happens when you go out on a march with new boots you must know. i could give two craps whether i have my ar or not all im saying is its a bad systemif you think it works just great to temp loan every soldiers kit well thats your opinion. but when you go and train down in the states in a desert scenario you let me know how well that Temperate cad worked for ya.
