i don't think it's the o ring problem......cuz i have the newest madbull propane adapter (with the silicon oil container)....so the O-ring in the propane won't catch the valve stem in the adapter....

one thing i realized is that those 2 tanks of propane that "leaks", i tried to put silicon oil on the propane tank itself rather than the silicon oil entrance on the adapter....
i'm gonna buy 3 more bottles and see how thing turns out....

I have that one too. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong but when I press it to the nozzle on my mag nothing happens. I press harder and it fizzles. If I press as hard as I can I can see it visibly venting off to the side. Any ideas what's happening?

My only thoughts are I have the angle all wrong (Straight upside down, as far as I can tell) or something is wrong with the adaptor.

EDIT: Disregard. I guess the problem is with the adaptor itself, and it seems to be a common problem. I'll order an AI adaptor and see if that works. I'll leave the rest for future generations and their searches.

Interesting I have one of the Madbull adaptors and the first few times it did vent out to the sides however once I got the hang of filling it it fills fine every time.

If you think it's vertical and it's venting out it probably isn't, I had to get the hang of it and one thing that I thought helped a lot was if it starts to vent off to the sides let go and take it off, wait about 5-10 seconds and try it again.

Got the same one, metal red one from airsoftparts, totally sucks. Always get stuck and when i remove it from the mags, it leaks as hell. Bought an AI plastic one 1 week ago, i don't regret it!

Theres a reason that we tell people to get the AI instead of the MadBull one.

What you're looking for his nearly 100% pure Dimethicone to not eat your parts, some of the older silicone oils and greases can actually eat silicone parts; hence why alot of the old timers and gun docs use the expensive, made for airsoft only greases/oils. But, there are alot of products out there now that are safe to use.

You can use alot of 'hair serums' (it's dimethicone to put in hair for styling, so your hop-up or GBB may smell like flowers) or internal safe/toy-safe silicone sex lubes.

I've used a variety of products for grease/oil in AEG's, GBBs, propane for filling GBB mags; never had a problem, but I also was very careful knowing what I put into the airsoft parts.
If you are using internal safe sex lube for your GBB make sure that it has comparable viscosity to standard the AI weight. You want the lightest weight oil you can get. Their are hobby / RC stores that sell 5L jugs of silicon oil 100% pure silicon oil in various weights.

another excellent place to look is plumbing sections in hardware stores, and boating stores. If you see "petroleum distillates" avoid.
