Yeah he's not that smart and apparently couldn't figure it out himself.

From the initial inspection and test fire:

The gun is shooting a bit hotter than 350. I fired off about 15 rounds through my chrony using .2s. The highest was 378 fps, and the lowest at 352, with most being in the 360-365 range. I expect that the spring will somewhat settle and bring it down to around its advertised 350 range once it sees more use. Rate of fire using the included 9.6V 1100 mAh NiMH battery was 13.8 rps.

The whole body is really solid except for a bit of creak in the front handle / grip / trigger guard (whatever it's called on the P90). I think that's easily remedied with a bit of expanding foam. Seam lines are nice and level, and without spaces between the halves of the shell. The plastic is nicely textured similar to the fibre reinforced nylon of CA, but it does feel more like ABS. It doesn't feel as sturdy as CA plastic, but easily as solid as anything from TM.

Accuracy seemed pretty decent using my EOTech 552 replica.

The only real issue with it so far is I find that when switching from auto to semi, the first shot in semi will often be a 2-round burst, followed by single shots. I'd say about 1/2 of the time, it will do this, whereas the other half, it will shoot semi fine. Going from safe to semi doesn't seem to do this and shoots in semi as it's supposed to.

I'll try to do a more thorough review of it when I get the chance, but overall I'm quite happy with it.

On the note of the builder - the battery included is the same battery that came wth my A&K M249, and the metal and paint look very similar to the finish on my M249. I'd say it's a good possibility that this gun could be built by A&K. No way of knowing for sure though. Maybe gearbox internals have some clue, but not about to get into that...

Now that is interesting! Will you be keeping this gun stock? I'm interested in how it performs stock long-term.

i just remembered what a pain in the ass everybody says p90 mags are and from what ive heard id agree they are too. which has been whats kept me from getting a p90. but i always forget that and feel like yea i think i should get a p90. so even though id like to get one i think the mags alone will keep me from ever owning one

p90 mags are fine to work with, strange to get used to at first. Go by experience over "what you heard"

The real pain in the ass is finding them in canada, since they come either fake bullet or hi-cap, and the hi caps are garbage.

Very nice man, congrats on your new toy.
As for others complaining about the mags, from my experience the hicaps are the only things to steer clear from. They jam all the time.

I have no plans to upgrade anything. The gun works fine as-is. I've added the EOTech which will be the only real external upgrade. The supressor looks cool, but that's just cosmetic.

Heard the same. It's the high cap mags that are a real pain, since you need to remove them to wind them up. These 68-round low caps work fine. They feed very well and with no leftover BBs in the mag or feed tube...

The gun comes with 2 low caps. In the field, I only carry low cap mags for my armalites, and usually never go through more than 5 or 6 mags in an entire game. I figure another 3 spare mags (total of 5) plus a speedloader will be adequate. The only real issue with P90 mags is their size and getting mag pouches for them.

Yeah, the good thing about P90 lowcaps is that they feed all the BB's. That's because even at the end of the mag where the spring wouldn't be able to push BB's up into an M4, they gravity feed in a P90.

One of my

First guns was a P90 in fact the P90 was responsible for introducing me to Airsoft guns in the first place.

the P90 was also one of the only guns I have sold off... I found that ergonomically it was a good gun in use.. but pouches for mags were a pain to get and a pain to wear.

Recently however I have found I have been thinking about the P90 again.. So I'm interested in the full review for future reference.

P90 for the win.
It's a formidable weapon in close quarters. With the vest I have on, mags are not to bitchy to carry, but I'm still limited in space on my rig.
