Aiming question.

You could try using a scout setup, where the optics (red dot or scout/pistol scope) is mounted forward (over the handguard). This type of setup is made to be useable with both eyes open, even for magnified scopes (usually low magnification); being mounted further away from your face would probably make it easier to see with your dominant eye.

With an Aimpoint (repro) on my SAM-R, I can see the dot with both left and right eye with minimal head movement.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think if I ever find the time I'll train my right eye to be able to aim normally. For now, I'll try some of the other things you guys have posted. Thanks again.

Just wear one of these on your left eye when your playing, and before you know it, your right eye will be dominant and you can dominate anyone!!! shoot em up away!

I had the same problem, cross-eye dominate when I started shooting real-steels when I was young. I remedied the problem by looking through some high resolution scope for a few minutes each night, or when I was bored in between TV shows. If I remember correctly it took a few weeks.

Can you better define high resolution scope? Are you talking high magnification or something completely different?

I'm right handed, but my right eye has HORRIBLE vision and my left eye is perfectly normal. So i've always shot left handed.

I shoot right but sight pistols with my left and AEG's with my right.

many times I catch myself starting off with the sights but then find myself using both eyes and looking over the barrel to follow the BB's.
