Pretty awesome loadout. I agree a G3 would also look good with that.

Just out of curiosity, do you have alternate headwear for this one too?

No I am afraid not!
Unfortunately I have a big head and it is hard to get any kind of field caps for any nation (apart from the US) in a size 62, especially for my Eastern Europe/Russian loadouts. The shop I got the kit from will be getting some in though, and will be emailing me when stock arrives. I have never liked boonies. The kevlar just heats up too damn quick, I always usually swap to a field cap of some description half way through the day. However, I always wear a helmet if its CQB, assaulting a fixed position or in a small playing area. The only impression that doesn't have alternative head gear is my Nam loadout, but the M1 is a nice, open, airy helmet anyhow compared to the "fritz" style.

Took the loadout for a spin at a fame over the weekend: Very nice indeed, but I need to get a field cap for the heat and for long range matches... The helmet gets to you after a while!
Sorry QuiN, I tried the loadout as you suggested but it was painfull to kneel or crouch, so I adjusted up again. I think soldiers would adjust to personal preferences anyway. Apologies for the Birth Control safety specs!

Pretty much finished the Impression now, pretty much everything is real deal.
I now have the proper German Army boots and FINALLY managed to get a XL size German Kevlar.... The only thing really off is the G3 mag pouches mounted on the right side of the webbing but I will be getting a G3 soon, plus they are handy for keeping bits and pieces in. Also the double G36 pouches aren't used by the Bundeswher, but if you love mid caps like I do you need them! The UMP might be a bit cheeky, but it does come in handy in buildings...

Pretty good impression.
Might I recommend though, that before you even change your mag pouches that you get the dual ight bridge for your G36? Makes quite a difference in the appearance, and the Ares dual scope bridge is now widely available. Love the fact that you bothered to get the right boots. Great job.

I think Porkchop is referring to the Hensholdt dual optics scope carry handle. I just bought 2 for my Mg36 and G36K. I got them at Ehobby...they are made by Star. Weren't bad price either. Makes the look a little more legit...but I have seen several Bundeswehr photos from Afgahnistan and they are being used less. Often see the Zeis Z Point mini red dot in the place mounted on a top rail...
Great job Beastor...hopefully I can get some pics this weekend of my load out and compare notes. I haven't got the issue Lowa boots yet and I also have double G36 pouches but hey...this is airsoft...lol

Cheers for the feedback guys, I should of mentioned the sight but I forgot!
I did notice them for sale but I could only find them with the carry handle, can you get them separately? Its a late 90's impression, so I should get one. The boots were ludicrously cheap, but the Kevlar was a bit more expensive...

Well done beastor, another great collection of kit there. I always like seeing your projects. And I agree, put together a thread in the Media forum with all your loadouts, it would be nice to see them all in one location.

Hey Beastor....the Hensholdt style red dot is integrated into the carry handle so you can't get them seperately. And Star was making a "Z point" copy but I think they have discontinued it. So...if you want the authentic look then I think the Star Dual optics carry handle is about your only choice.
By the way,,,where did yoi get the boots? Again...nice job
