honestly, if you have a camcorder with a video IN (not out) then you can attach a smaller camera (wired) to it and be able to record. That is what i suggest.
dont forget you can always go to your local electronics store and test some stuff out for yourself. |

the only way that i can think of right now is probably with the use of a fiber optics "snake cam". the real ones will cost you in excess of 1000USD if i remember correctly. the cheaper ones will run you about 400USD. be advised that they require a 12V power source. check them out HERE!!! |

or you could just get a crappy digidal camera with an extentable lense. and kinda jam it in the end of your scope. Then to sight just look in the screen.

Asside from having 2 scopes (one for user, the other for the camera), you would need some kind of mirror to split the image.

Yeah, while i play.
the snake cam is an interesting idea... a very expensive one at that... but ultimatly, it won't give you a good image or an accurate image anyways. If a RedDot or Crosshair is off, it doesn't work. I like the cheap cam idea... where you actually put the camera against the scope and look through the camera's eyepiece. i should try that...

Sorry for the crappy picture. It was my Mustek device with a wireless cam / audio in live mode. You can hook up any analogue device to capture its output, so if you have a higher res camera you can hook it up directly to the PVR. It lets you record, then immediately watch what you recorded. 32 MB built in memory, expandable via SD.

That'd be pretty good, actually... even if you aren't recording, you could stick that on your gun and use it to safely peek around corners before shooting randomly or charging in blindly.

mirros cost less for that and they are much cheaper to replace and never run out of batteries.
