I think the LCT mags might fit in the KA...
Unfortunately, I don't have a LCT mag to test.
Negative on the LCT fitting KA.

I've got the KA Vintorez and like it quite a bit, good solid build. Also have the LCT AS VAL and side by side they are both very quite good. I've read reports of issues with the KA feeding but haven't encountered that personally, apprently KA has a new piece to fix that issue.

I have had an up close look at a few of them over the last few days, and I think I have to say that the LCT is probably the nicest of the them in terms of stock quality. That being said, I am personally leaning towards the AY simply because for the price of the LCT, I could get the AY, gut it and replace the internals with whatever I wanted.

Am likely looking at this being a spring-time project, so lots of time to evaluate still, but man, these things are crazy. In a world where cross-compatibility is pretty common in airsoft, the Vintorez manufacturers need to get it together!

sorry to bump up an old thread

Is it worth getting the AY or S&T and upgrading it compared to getting an LCT off the bat?

There was another thread on VSSes recently. The general thinking now is LCT or bust. It's a full steel VSS, the other ones are pot metal and WILL break. There's also another great but obscure full steel VSS on the market, but its hard to come by, you'd be better off with the LCT.

The LCT is by far the better gun anyway! The only bitch I have is that I have gone threw different PSOP scopes trying to get them to fit on. The holes do not line up for the screws on their mount adaptor. It pisses me off that I have to go spend $300 + dollars on a real one to match the adaptor!
