That's the point of it : on the regular one (the standard G36K handguard of my ARES) my Firefox LiPo 11.1V is pressed on quite a bit so I put a few mm on the floor for better insertion.

interesting.... how wide is the opening at the front? is it wide enough to inset a suppressor into the handguard?

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.

Ok so on a G36K (and by extension full size G36) you can put anything you want as the barrel sticks out.

On a G36C the suppressor can be up to 37 mm in diameter (because of side support). If you're using the Magpul MOE rails you might have to recut the screws or sand something though.
