Hey man, i know a place in Toronto where you can get green gas for 22.13 for 2, i am going to switch to propane at some point, but i am going to use legitimate green gas for the first while, so i can ensure that my o-rings and the internals have the perfect amount of mixed oil when firing my gbb pistol. i haven't heard there is much of a difference, its my personal preference to do the first 2000 cycles by the books with green gas. I know every1 is gonna be like :O u huge noob why would you waste the money on green gas? well its because its the same thing as buddy getting a stock gun that only use NIMH batteries and is only rated for NIMH batteries and then sticking a lipo in it because it will perform better. the major reason is to do things by the books for the first while, and ensure there is a good amount of mixed oil keeping the O-rings seated for the first 1000 or 2000 rounds. after that point i would feel inclined to use propane and occasionally use green gas every couple thousand cycles to ensure things were legit.

this would be a great opportunity for a Well known local genius to step in and share his wealth of information surrounding Propane and its benefits when accompanied by his revolutionary new AI Propane adapter.

2000 cycles!! Holy crap I have guns that havent been through 1000 yet!

Jordan

Edit: Time for some math. Lets say you have a hi capa. Hi capa mags hold 30 bbs. So 2000/30 = 66.6 mags. THAT'S A LOT OF SHOOTING!

Yes I know they can hold 31 bbs but I always get that stupid gap when loading mags. Dont tell me it doenst happen to you too!

Propane is better, no doubt, cheap and way more effective then green gas, however the smell of propane also irritates me and causes me to have a headache. i prefer green gas, even though its inferior and more expensive. this is a personal preference, much like the OP. Use Propane, Say goodbye to your warranty.

Surplus IG (St-Laurant & Ontario) has Firepower green gas for $20. Tell them you're from ASC and pay cash.

remember guys, propane is heavier than air and will make it's way to the lowest part of your house. though propane is not toxic and is basically inert to the body, it does displace oxygen.

Unless you have window on the ground it ain't gonna work. IMO, green gas should have the additive. The fact it is propane should make you realize the smell is for your safety not annoyance

//sorry for odd autocorrect words by my phone//

Install a fan for a window (high above ground) and install a tube (like the one for dryers, but can be plastic) from the fan to the ground of the room.
This probably would look weird though...

have two fans on on the ground pointing up to the window and one at the window. IDK this a problem with shooting gas indoors.

It's not THAT big of a problem. Just light a match every time you empty a few mags. Let the propane burn.
