Freight, using UPS, was only $13 USD, at least that's what Crye billed me. Unfortunately UPS raped my on customs. GST was $35.76, no duty or the like, and brokerage fee was $56.95 8O , could I have some lube with that please? If I had gone with snail mail, I'm sure it would have been $50 or so, freight & tax, but the downside is I'd be waiting a few weeks, and I'd already waited 6 months. I'm a very patient man, but...

When I got my Crye combat pants, customs had them labelled as "swimwear". Hmm...

I just got off the phone with Gregg at Crye Precision. Crye armour is currently not available to civilians. He said that there may be an opportunity in the future to release them to the public, but at this time... only military/LE applications.

Why a real soldier would want to wear multicam when it's not his real uniform?
How does it work anyway? I assumed you could not wear non issued uniforms. About the cry armor, maybe they don't sell the actual plates to civilian, but maybe if you hask them the sizes and specks of the plates, you can make them yourself and buy the empty armor shell. The actual plates must cost all your familly to aquire anyway.
