Nice and cheap though lol
I've got one; I've found they're too warm for year-round wear (compared to a TADGear softshell, which I also have), since they made it with a thin fleece lining. But not a bad jacket, otherwise.

On the other hand, I've worn the TADGear in Hawaii...

Not to barge in but I been looking at a soft shell jacket as well. The Condor one seems a good deal for me. Hows the sizing acually? I normally wear a Large for jackets but I took a look at the sizing chart, it seems like a Medium will fit me (I'm 5'9-10, 200 pounds, 41 chest). I been hearing that you should get a size up on the Condor soft shells but I heard they fixed it so you don't have to get a size up.

I notice that Fabsports are selling the Phantom/Pantec soft shells.. how are they compared to the other soft shells?

I found the Condor stuff to be nice and roomy compared to TADGear.

Guys, I'm looking for an affordable softshell with integral hood. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Best I can find so far: http://marmot.com/products/rom_jacket?p=216,222,72,142

Where can I go for additional information on this subject?

I donno Frank, I've put my softshell through some abuse and it's going strong. You should try one.
