Too bad it's not me... And too bad it didn't work.

The gun itself seemed to work fine, but the motor in the ammo box wasn't engaging. Couldn't tell if the problem was the connection between the gun and the box, or something internal to the box itself.
BTW, the gun is an Ares.

The problem is it's an ARES lol

Looks a lot like you're building a RWS of some sort. Cool!

The only question is, what are you going to mount it on?

My ''Pig'' A&k M60 VN.

Finally with an ammo belt... (thanks Hellfire!)

Used it yesterday in Quebec first VietNam game ever (thanks 5kull)

A bitch to carry in the wood but oh so pleasing to fire on the VC

I own the ARES stoner in the picture frozen posted. The only problems i had with it out of box was the connecter for the battery was crap. So I was blessed to have someone in our group deans it, as well as the stick battery for it. The box mag didnt work for it either, feeding or power issues, I am not sure. Further testing required on it. But yk pizza guy, the angel he is, send for two from redwolfairsoft and droped one off to me.
He also picked a ARES Stoner lmg straight from canadian distributer mentioned on ares site for 150$ cheaper then mine. Aswell mine came from toronto airsoft who would not hold my warranty valid for the box mag when confronted with the issue in emails. With stock 140 spring in it shoots just above 400 fps. With downgraded spring shooting 345fps. Perfect for our cqb games, and saving internals inside gun. No issues with mine gun directly, and stock magazine issues with ARES are not a new thing for me in my experience with my L1A1, but the shooter brand replacements offer'd by ARES always solved the issue.
I personally recommend the ARES Stoner LMG to anyone wanting a cqb support weapon for a medium to even a smaller player.
