It is it good or bad timing for FCC with their budgets series when they have limited production capabilities?

Systema announced that this fall their new M4s will be CNCed.

The FCC budget series are also going to be pot metal.

I am also curious how many FCC CNC guns have been sold.

i hope that will also include a more reliable motor, as far as I know there are
over 1000 units of 416D and other models (FFL and XM), mostly in Europe, South East Asia

In Canada probably around 100+ (I have 4)

I think FCC make great guns, they need to set up more dealers worldwide for the budget series?

So without thinking too far into it;
-regular cylinder
-longer mags with modified 5.56 internals, but the feed lips will be the same distance from the back of the mag so you can use the same cylinder
-same mechbox/motor
-'normal' SR25 receiver modified for use with PTW internals
-the outer barrel is going to make up for the length hold the hop chamber closer to the cylinder

that about right? lol

Oh also, Brad had pointed out the gap in the end plate of the MOE grip. Seems you guys are using MIAD end plates on a MOE grip. Since the new motor apparently produces very little heat, will they be revising the grip to use the proper end plates to seal the grip and prevent any crap from getting into the motor?

Nope, can't reveal the details but none of the design will derived from Systema, this and the next platform will be truly ground up FCC design.

Hm. Not totally appealing. I'd rather have good systema compatibility so I don't have to have a pair of SR25s to swap parts back and forth in the field.
I don't see any point to having a longer barrel/cylinder, most experts agree the shorter barrels are more accurate; the science is sound and we've got plenty of first hand experience that backs that up.
I REALLY want an SR25K though lol
