Sucks to hear that so many guys are not happy with their cases. I ordered a 44" black aluminum rifle case on the 30th. Got it yesterday at noon. It was well packed.

When I went to open the box I cut the tape on the box and opened the flaps to find a second box. I cut the tape on that one opened the flaps again to find a third box. Cut the tape on it and found bubble wrap sleeve around the case. Pulled of the bubble wrap off and the case itself was in its own cloth bag with a draw string. Case is in perfect condition. Very happy with my purchase and only $40 dollars total including shipping! The case came with a nice carrying strap as well. My new HK417 looks very sexy in it.

the 39" I already have will have issues closing if the body of the case is twisted... since there's no diagonal support to provide rigidity, the case twists easily when it's open.

Don't expect a pelican at this price point.

Ordered the black 53" aluminum case to fit 2 DMR's. If both won't fit, 1 DMR and a MP7 with lots of mag room.
Total was $61!

Well at 50-60 bucks shipped, its really unfair to expect anything close to pelican quality. But for our airsoft purposes they are more than good enough. Now, who wants to experiment and mod their case to make it stronger?

I wasn't expecting it to be pelican quality, but keep in mind they're like $110 regular price... which is retarded for the quality that they are.

And for any amount of money greater than $0 I would expect it to have, you know, basic functions down like being able to actually shut, thus not being rendered completely useless.

All of you with damaged cases; I would definitely call them and send them pics of them... I'm sure they'll work out something;

To be honest, the first 2 cases I bought from them were laptop *full aluminium* cases, and they're awesome; I was expecting the same from their rifle cases and they're not close to it, unfortunately;

That said, when you receive them *undamaged*, I'd say they're good for the price when at 50%. But I agree they're not worth the 100% price though, that's a shame. At least they're better than those Can'tire Flambeau cases... :P

Good luck to you all that have issues with them :/

It wasn't damaged from shipping, it's formed incorrectly. Best way to describe it would be the case has like an "overbite" on one side. We'll see what a phone call gets me...

I have that same overbite, very minor though. If I twist a bit and squeeze it closes fine. Would be nicer if I didn't have to though!

Before cutting down a company baht not try an ram. First these probably cost $20 to make. So don't expect pelican. And shit breaks and shit happens. If the company tell you to fuck off than you had a gripe. Bit please don't slam a company before even finding out what they do for rma.

This is a public forum. I received a defective product, and therefore, I am expressing my discontent with said defective product. How they deal with it is yet to be seen.

I was never expecting a pelican, I was just expecting a functioning case. If they did any vague sort of QC, this would have been obvious to them.

No one is saying "EHRMAGERD MEZZI SUX DONT BUY FROM DEM".

My brother got his 42ìnch case and he wasn`t impressed. he likes the flambeau case he used to use more. but for the price it wasnt that bad.

Living in Edmonton pelican is too cheap to pass up on.

Even at $50, I'm a little disappointed. Had I purchased one of these at the original $100, I'd be downright angry. Perhaps that's because I received a damaged case, but the overall quality of the case leaves much to be desired. I sent out an email yesterday and have yet to receive any response yet. It's only been a day, so that's fine.

I'm posting some photos of the damage and the case itself here.

Upon closer inspection last night, I found tons of surface cracks on one of the panels on the bottom, one so big that it was exposing what material the panel was made out of.

What's that? It's definately not plastic. Looks like either thick cardboard or compressed fiberboard.

I also just got the pistol case today. I don't see how the double sidedness works. I put in two pistols into the case (without even using the crappy pluck foam) and they were sliding all over the place.. The foam isn't thick enough to keep pistols from moving around in transit, not to mention there isn't a hard divider in the middle to separate the two sides. What were they thinking when they designed this? The exterior build though seems much better than my rifle sized version.

Even at $40-50, I'm struggling to justify the purchase. I'm pretty disappointed. We'll see what Mezzi has to say for my replacement before I make any final review on the cases.

Dang that looks pretty bad O_o I'd be angry unless I would have got that for free :/

About the pistol case, did you actually bought the *pistol* or *camera* case?
'cause I bought the PIstol case (Silver, less expansive) and it IS divided in the middle...
