well more than $300, beyond that it depends 100% on which brand you want.

yea. no. just wait till you're verified, best bet is save at least 1000 for gear and stuff as well.
500+ sounds about right for a SCAR Last edited by Daiviet; May 9th, 2009 at 10:39.. Reason: to be less of a dick. |

Low to mid-range then your looking at either the G&G or the Classic Army SCAR. I haven't heard much from the DBoys SCAR but Ive always wanted to stay well away from anythig DBoys. Higher up than that and your looking at the Star/Ares or VFC (which IMO is the cream of the crop). For the G&G or CA look to spend between $300 (as a barebones minimum, if found for this low or lower then theres something wrong with the gun or with the seller) Try to aim somewhere in the vicinity of $500-$700 as a higher than average ballpark (always my nature to estimate higher than it might be). |

You have only two choices, the VFC or the Star.
That video review is mostly shite for many reasons, one of them is pictures like this, a real SCAR showing various colour tones including a bronze appearing upper receiver.

If you do end up going the Star/Ares route, be aware that the mechbox isn't exactly a standard ver. 2 Star seemed to have come up with their own design that may or may not take parts that would normally fit in a standard ver. 2, also the ambi select fire is a BITCH and a half to get right when putting the box back in.
And I didnt know E1 makes a SCAR. |

That is pretty sexy, but for me if Im gonna get one again, it will be a VFC.

The Star one isn't that bad for the Ambi safety, just gotta set it around 4-5 o clock position and it'll slide right in. |
