A few (dumb or not) questions
Hi everyone.
I have I few question before I move in Montreal in October (currently in France). I'm not going to ask if I can bring my replicas I already know the answer no need to go like this :banghead: So : Question 1 : I know winter can be pretty rough so I wanted to know if you play in winter and what kind of close you guys are wearing to keep you from freezing on your feet if that the case. Question 2 : I had a look on a few web sites and only saw G&G and ICS replicas I repaired (or tried to) a lot of those and they brought me nothing but problems (really, really bad memories of an MP5 :hammer: :rrr: ). So is that all you can find in Canada ? (Please don't say yes, I want a Masada and an M95  ). Question 3 : With GBB pistols, does normal gaz works or do you have to use CO² the whole year ? (Was expecting to buy an M9A1 from KJW anyway ). That's all. Thanks to all who'll answer. PS : vous pouvez aussi répondre en français.

Q1: The warmer you dress the better. A good pair of gortex boots and thick wool socks will have your feet thank you all day.
Q2: At the moment one can only buy guns with clear receivers through online retailers, so G&G and ICS have been some of the only decent brand AEG manufacturers have decided to help us Canadians out. Q3: It is not advised to use gas guns in winter as it can freeze o-rings lickity split and you wont be able to shoot past 20-40 ft with the reduced power. |

I would advise on not even bothering with a GBB if you can see your breath.

I think question one and three have been adequately covered but for question two: Online retailers aren't the only way to get guns in Canada. Once you actually get here, you can meet with a Age Verifier and get Age Verified. Once that happens you can get access to the classifieds and Retailers here on ASC which will allow you to get guns from all the major manufacturers and most of the minor ones. Prices will unforunately be two to three times what you're used to, but provided you're willing to pay, you should be able to get the guns you want.

Thanks for your answers.
But "Ouch !" on the second question Is there any ongoing negociation with or from ASG so we can have other replicas at decent prices in near future ? I love th Masada / ACR but I don't see myself paying two or three times the normal price of the PTS version. |
