eHobbyAsia no longer a Ebay seller
Sadly I searched for their Ebay store but alas, they are no more.
Sucks because now I'll have to pay more for shipping if it's just a few items as opposed to saving money on shipping for a bunch of items, using their storefront. |

Yup and going offsite actually saves more money and save on ebay fees you would think that they would pass on the savings onto the buyers.

Well, I gave them a try and I have gotten 5% off this order for registering.
I'm hoping they become the next RWA or UNC. |

They're still my preferred HK retailer, and I'd stopped using their eBay storefront a while back.
My only wish is that they expand their inventory to the same levels as the other retailers (UNC, RW, WGC)

I remember pricing out a bunch of mags on their store and ebay. The store was almost twice as much as their ebay store because of the shipping!! Hopefully they fixed their shipping calculator.

I don't know. They aren't even a registered user any longer. In the past when all their auctions disappeared they were at least still registered. It looks like they shut it down.

That is true, I have seen the same. They go on and off once in awhile by removing their items but not their ebay status. This time their ebay status is gone. I've emailed asking them, also going to ask how come the shipping is higher than the ebay store. And going to ask if they are going to expand into a WGC, UN, etc type of retailer

Hey
Yeah, it's totally lame how ehobby's prices have slowly been increasing and increasing.
Nowadays, if you buy from their online store, shipping prices are REALLY HIGH, and when you email them and ask them why, they just say that they were not making enough profits before. They had really good prices for the last 4 years, but they're really moving down on the list of retailers I would purchase from. Especially when you can get stuff from RedWolf shipped to you via EMS at a comparable price. |

Not sure what you guys or ordering... for a GBB inner barrel, it was $3 more at eHobby (not counting the 5% discount) that from RedWolf, but shipping was $5 while RedWolf wanted $27!!!!
WTF $27, that's like doubling the price of the item. Not to mention RW never has stuff in stock, whoever holds inventory there needs to get their shit together.

By far eHobby's shipping speed is the best but what confused me was the price differences from the ebay store to the online store.
I'm not complaining, their prices are still top notch but I remember when ordering two TM 5.1 Mags ebay store - $69.98 USD Online store - $73.98 USD I asked them why but they never answered |

I noticed this as well. I ordered a G&P M3 tac light from them and just received it 2 days ago. Went this morning to leave them the usual positive feedback and noticed they were no loner a registered user. Sucks. I like dealing with them through ebay because there's the added protection of dealing through ebay. Not that I'm too concerned about getting ripped off by them or anything, but having that extra level of security there is always nice and reassuring. Also, the ebay prices were cheaper, which was a bonus.

eBay eHobbyAsia was so damn easy, and they were fast, and fats at customer service, and fast replies. They're cool.
Their username is airsoftshooting, something like that I think. |

I ordered a package from them last week an dit showed up today! 5 days door to door! Its faster than getting stuff from the USA.
As far as the different shipping costs go, here is what I found. I wanted a vest that they had listed on ebay. On ebay it was a Buy It Now for $47.00 US which included "FREE shipping" (Rriighhttt...). I went to their Website and they had the same vest for $24.00 US + shipping. Basically it worked out to about the same amount, maybe a couple bucks one way or the other, but it was close enough for me. I have got 4 or 5 packages from these guys over the years and they always have excellent, fast service. Two thumbs up from me!:tup: Gordo
