Next airsoft gun

right now i own an ICS m4 and a JG m16 dmr, i like em both but i was thinking of getting another for my collection. I like the m16 cuz it has pretty good range and i like the m4 because of the Rof but it really cant be used in Woodsball because i cant really shoot more then 40 feet and have it go straight. Any ideas on what i should get for my next airsoft gun, one that has good ROF and distance and accuracy.

Spend our money on upgrades for your current 2 guns. Like get a better barrel and a stronger spring for your M4. get a higher voltage battery for your M16 to increase ROF.

Note: I'm also fairly new to this, so wait for another response from someone else.

I'm with Bissa. Instead of buying an expensive new gun... spend your money on making what you have meet your expectations? What's the point of having 3 airsoft guns that don't make you happy?

I would agree with bissa. If you want the longer range you have to upgrade. If your still looking for another gun maybe pick up a mp5.

So funny that u say that cuz i just got a Systema barrel and an Ics upgrade kit that included an Upgraded spring, and i jus added a 9.6v 3600 mAh battery to my m16, thats why i want a gun tthats not as big but it has High rof and range/accuracy and distance.

If the m16 is great, upgrade the m4. If you really want to get a new gun... Just find a gun that looks cool...giving it a high ROF and range + accuracy can be done easily afterwards.

So just pick something that appeals to you. Maybe go to a few games and hold a few guns, see what feels comfortable. A lot of people say AKs are the least ergonomic guns they've ever held... I loved mine, super comfy and easy to wield. Everyone has different tastes, figure out what yours are.

Agreed. I manage to have my C8 build mostly for outdoor games. Tight bore and stronger spring. As for the Batt... Well... It's decent could be better but heh...

I don't think the M16 would give you a lot more then a well build M4... For the price it would cost you is it really worthed? I don't think so IMO.

Now if you want a new gun... Well that is up to you.

If you're only getting 40' from an ICS M4, you have a serious problem. That gun should have an accurate range of 100'-130' and and effective range of about 150'. Check to see if your hopup is adjusted properly. It should shoot flat and straight to 150' or so before dropping off. If it's shooting as good as you can get it, take it to a gundoc who is experienced with ICS version 2 gearboxes (the M4 has a split gearbox and contains proprietary parts that are not interchangable with non ICS split gearboxes) and have it checked out. Hopefully, it's just a hopup issue that can be easily remedied.

I was going to say that too. 40 feet is nothing for an airsoft gun.

If you are a SUPER high ROF fanatic, i suggest you to try LI-po battery instead of ni-cad or ni-mh, but you would need the proper internals for that.....

If you want a new gun check out a Scar. Your mags will still be compatible with it. They are a comfortable gun to shoulder. They just feel right to me. Lots of rails so that you can further empty your wallet buying accessories as well. A Scar also looks sweet imo.
