Help with AirsoftGuide.co.uk please
Hello all,
Not sure if this si the right forum... Almost a week ago I ordered the Airsoft Guide DVDs from THIS Slick PayPal checkout and I'm good to go. A couple days go by, no confirmation of shipping. I think that is a bit odd from my online experiences. Use the webpage based contact form, couple more days, no reply, some PMs to site admin "Admin" and site owner "Will" with no reply. Anyone know these guys (dealt with them, etc.) or where I could get a hold of them? I thought there may be somone here who knows a friend of a friend etc. as the Airsoft community has all kinds of connections around the world. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you. |

Anything I get from the UK takes at least 2 weeks to get here by post.

@ Danke => Yes, that I can appreciate. What I find different is no reply to my enquiries. I would be more than happy to have the DVDs just show up at the post office in a week or two. Maybe that is what will happen.

Wait till the last day for a response and then file a claim.

I ordered most of my base gear from flecktarn.co.uk. It takes a LONG time to get here, even with their speedy service. I usually wait 2-3 weeks for my gear. Another thing to take into consideration is the time difference, they're like...9 hours ahead, I think, also take into consideration that they're probably really busy with claims like yours from hundreds of other people. Like T_A_N_K said, wait until the last day for a response and file a claim with them.

this may shed some light.
usually if you paid by credit ard through paypal the info you give n the website must be exact to whats on your card i.e. billing addy and so forth if not your funds get put into a "bucket"(as my card company described to me) for two weeks. now because if you made a mistake it will stay there for two weeks and then be returned the reason this happens is because the automated service in paypal and the website you are ordering from see thats the info is not correct and does not fiish processing the order. thus the funds get put into a two week hold thinking the site will be withdrawing them. this happened to me two weeks ago myself. when ordering a revolver. kinda sucked because i fucked up my postal code... |

You're aware that the revolver likely won't make it through Customs, right?

More importantly, the site hasn't been updated since August and the DVDs you ordered were an "END OF SUMMER 08" special deal, with a WARNING: This super-special-offer will end soon! notice below it.
Might wanna register to check their forums, maybe there's more recent activity there (and insight on your order, like the guy being away for the Christmas Holidays), but at first glance the site looks like its on autopilot.
