See-thru Magazines

Now I know that see-thru mags with visible bullets are no no's when it comes to import into Canada (read somewhere here that apparently black mags are alright)

But, are the States starting to get boned with this same thing?
I tune into some American/Japanese owned airsoft sites the odd time to see what new things come down the tube, but I've been noticing that most the sites that had G36C models that included the clear bullet mags are now replacing the pictures with black mags. Now to me, the G36C just ain't a G36C without seeing them nice bullets in that mag there, and I was just curious as if the production of these mags are still going to continue. It'd be a sad day for G36C's everywhere if there was no more of them mags.

Any news?

Ah-Ah.
I know what you’re thinking
Did he fire six shots or only five?
Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kind of lost track myself
But being this is a .44 magnum the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off
You got to ask yourself one question.
Do I feel lucky?
Well, do ya, PUNK?

Could just be G36s from a Chinese manufacturer or G36s using MAG or STAR locaps. No fake bullets in those.

Translucent plastics and fake brass exponentially increase the cost of manufacture, so a lot of companies just take the flat black shell and slap the internals in, as opposed to having the internals fit inside fake rounds that fit inside a mag. I think it's mostly a cost thing.

Agreed. I suspect this is the case more than legal reasons. You may still get TMs with the clear mags and fake bullets, but all the cloners will go with black mags and no bullets to cut costs.
