it looks very similar to VFC's maple grenade, except carrying more bb's. Good thing about it is that it doesn't seem like theres any parts to lose other than the pin.

edit: actually, it seems a lot better than a lot of the grenades out there, except for Madmax's of course. Tornado grenade FTW.

Wouldn't it be possible for the BB's to ... you know... pop out if you threw the grenade on a hard surface?

I've reviewed these...

A friend bought two of these while waiting for tornadoes.

I have to say that these are VERY HEAVY. They're full steel or alluminum and are not a good idea for any kind of toss.

If your game doesn't count richochets, forget this grenade.

It is an excellent weapon for clearing a hallway or as an area mine. The payload is massive and the bbs do not dislodge from impact.

The spread is huge but is 2-dimensional. You get a disc or "fan" -if on the ground- spread.

Use as a mine is difficult. The pin is in there, SOLIDLY so it takes a STRONG yank to pull out the pin.

If you can get some people to follow you into a room, set it down, and go, it works.

Otherwise, as an avid A.irsoft C.ombat E.ngineer, I can say that it's not worth near the whopping $150 price tag, or even $90.

A better option would be to run a Deepfire on 500 lbs of c02 pressure for a mine or a roll grenade.

As of yet, the Tornado seems to be the best choice but sadly require a lot of wearing in to achieve the desired 1.5 to 3 second delay fuse, lubrication or no.

It's best for those using the Tornado to set the grenade to 1.5 seconds, hold for a moment before tossing, as its about 4 seconds.

Hey Max, anything we can do in the aftermarket?
