7.4V lipo and ROF?

Does 7.4V lipo give better ROF than 8.4V NiMH battery? I want to put a lipo into my JG M4A1 in order to replace the bad stock 8.4V battery pack came with the gun?

I had a 7.4v 360mah lipo laying around so i tried it in my mp5 just for kicks. Im not sure of the spring it has in it but it shoots about 300fps and the ROF was not to bad at all. I was not a whole lot slower than a 9.6v large battery.
