If you are refering to the actual gas valve (the small black piece on the gas block above the barrell) it is actually a tool for removing the barrell assembly and adjusting the hop-up.You turn it clockwise to take it out. Mine was also loose so I just cut a small piece of electrical tape to make it more snug. If the entire gas block is loose I think the screws are inside it so you'll have to remove the bar. assembly to get to them. If your taking out the barrell ass. the instructions in the manual are wrong. They don't tell you in the manual but you have to drop the lower receiver first or you won't be able to slide the bar. assem. out the front like you can on the earlier versions.(STAR/CA). You will have to loosen the six screws that secure the bar. assem. They are held in with little springs so you don't lose them so don't try to yank them out.
Have fun. Later. |
