GBB O-Ring

OK so I've been hounding the local and not so local gun docs with this question without any real luck, so I thought that I would open these question to the forum. if anybody has any solution for this common problems please let me know. I've done the research, I've used search, done google and trolled other forums but with no luck. I quess I'm looking for anybody that has any fill valves that I can buy. And checked ebay also esecially ehobby.

I'm fixing up a bunch of mags for a friend that have alot of bad seals on the bottom fill valve and having a hard time finding replacements. Does anybody have any reccomendations as to what valve's I can use? And if anybody has any spare ones or somewhere I can buy them.

I need to find valves for:
KSC USP .45 and compact
KSC MK 23
WA M92

I have found various fill valves but I think that they need to match the exact mag rather than 1 generic valve for all mags

Or can somebody think of using a trick to seal the valve better. I've been toying with teflon tape and hot glue gun but with no real luck.

Thanks
Jakster

All your links appear to be dead.

I'm having problem with one of my KJW P229 mag's bottom valve, it seems that the o-ring has become distorted/squashed and is just dead. My solution (whenever I get around to it) is to see if I can find a replacement at a hardware store. Teflon tape has not worked well for me either.

Whenever one of my lower Orings on any of my KJ mags goes quagmire on me I just replace the whole damn valve since Ive never been able to find the right sized Oring at any hardwear store lately.

For KSC even though it says glock I wouldsee if these are compatable I would recommend picking some of these up and just replacing the whole valve.

For fill valves i actually ordered something like 30 from wgc when they were sellin ksc ones. What i usually do is take them apart and switch out the parts on the broken fill valve with the ksc ones. The valve body is different but most of the time the orings and springs are the same size. Dental elastics work wonders for all kinds of airsoft stuff aswell. Ive used them as spacers under the rectangular orings in mag bodies before.

I found a perfect fitting o-ring at the harware store by my workplace.

You have to grab one of the old guys thought. He found it in a metal box behind a whole lot of unrelated items.

Replaced the fill valve o-ring on my Well gas bolt. works wonder.

You can also buy some break cleaner fluid, spray the o-ring and let it soak a few seconds (30 or so).

The let it dry until it takes it's original size, then soak with silicon oil.

If there is no rip or tear, it should work like a new one, even better.

Like using hot glue, but much much better, replace the o-ring with a thick bead of silicone.

I've found when the o-rings look ok but is just not sealing I put a little pipe tape in the grove and put the o-ring back in. it pushes it up enough to make a seal again.
