A&K M249
No this is not another "how good are they" thread, I just want to ask those who have one, perferably the MKII what battery are you using in it. The reason I ask is I have one and the manual says you can use a large battery, but, the 8.4 3600 Intellect that I have will not fit what so ever. I even replaced the A&K made stock with a G&P thats spose to be able to fit a 12v 3300, and my battery still won't fit. Don't really want to run this thing off of mini's as I'd more then likely be going threw 2-3 of them per day.

It could just be the battery, try one of your friend's large batts.
I've seen this problem with mini batteries before, Intellect seems to make a few packs a bit bigger than the rest... |

Don't mean to threadjack, but noticed you said you used a G&P stock on it?
Do the G&P parts fit on the CA/A&K ?

Fit just fine, even put the G&P RIS on it too.

Own 1..I use a G&P 9.6 3300mah (large) in mine..snug fit but she goes

Got a different battery for it, a 8.4 3500 made of tenergy cells from Only Battery Packs, and it still don't fit, is it possible that the G&P cells are smaller if Cpl T. Syndrome got one to fit in his. I'm starting to think that you might only be able to G&P batteries in a G&P stock.
