I just recently got an M24 and the Classic Army mag that I got does not fit in the m24.
Also the safety lever is loose causing the gun to jingle alot. Any one have either of there problems? |

You can remove the safety, its not vital to the rifle. I fastened mine up with some washers; a lock washer, flat, then the lever, another flat and screw.
As for the mag, can you identify where its gettin' "hung up". Its likely that the barrel or the hop-up is not seated properly and the feed tower of the mag is not getting into the hole properly. Take some pics of the mag well and post them up; am sure we can help ya out. - Dracheous

I find if the mag is fully loaded, and the bolt is forword, you can't put the mag in. The bolt must be to the rear.
Also, new mags are a little tight.

Get rid of the safety lever, period. Useless thing.
Loosen the two main screws, in front of the magwell (the fake one in front of the trigger guard) and the screw behind the trigger, guard, put the mag in fully seated and hold it there, then snug the two screws down again. Mag has to be inserted every time you secure the upper to the stock. Othewise you get alignment issues like the one you have now. |

Excellent thanks guys . Ill try that in the next couple of days. Sucks how school decides to throw a midterm and have a 6-8 page essay on my 19th birthday .
I also wanted to upgrade my M24 to 450 fps with .2s as is the legal outdoor limit for sniper rifles to my knowledge in Ontario. I was wondering which parts would i need to get the smallest grouping possible with the highest amount of reliability and dependability. As well as if someonw knew a spring airsoftsmith in my area who would be willing to teach me the ropes for a reasonable fee of course. |
