Has anyone seen an under-barrel shotgun anywhere?

Ive done one on my M4 RIS, just used a plain old railed single BB shotgun, attached it with clamps to the bottom rail of the RIS.

I found it retardedly front heavy and only useful in a close range situation where your mags runs out and its simply quicker to hold the shottys trigger down and slam fire the whole mag as you stumble backwards retreating. Great for looks, its not terribly useful though. I even dare say its a little to bulky for CQB.

yeah i totally agree. looks cool, but totally useless for me. makes the gun very awkward to hold as well.

The purpose of the masterkey is, as, well, a master-key. You load it up with 12ga frangible and blow off locks with it. It was never intended to be used as a combat shotgun.

I put a walmart shotgun under a TM M4 for an indoor game last year. Got a few kills and didn't feel bad about shooting at close range haha. The added weight wasn't worth the novelty, and without a metal front end on the M4, I was worried about bending/warping the barrel when I racked the shotgun. Just the same, it turned a few heads and got a few laughs.
