ProWin Problem and fix!

These are PIMP setups but i finnaly found my first problem with them.

When i was trying to put a new barrel in my gun the top rear mechbox pop'd off the the lower. This locked up the system and prevented me from removing both half smoothly.

If this happens to you you much push the top into the bottom and pull the trigger!!!! say a littel prayer first if you want but it resets the two and you can now remove the top from the bottom.

Hop this helps anyone else.

Jeremy

im just taking a guess here, but do you have the 8mm or 7mm version?
i have the 8mm one and know what you are talking about.
if you dont release the spring tension befor poping that rear body pin on your M4, the rear of the gearbox will wont to pop up of the lower half.
to release the tension you need to press and hold down the spring release inside the magwell as you fire in single shot.
its really easy to do and kinda complex sounding when explainning.
when done right you should hear the gears whine backwards releaving the spring. then the two halfs of the gearbox should come apart easy.
to replace the inner barrel you dont need to take the gearbox halfs apart, but im guessing that you need to remove the rear pin to take the top reciver off the lower. just make sure to release the spring and you shouldnt have any problems.
i think you need to do the same with an ICS gearbox befor trying to open it or the piston snaps forward when openning.
